Soulcem is made up of two remarkable artists, Drew Newman and Brenna Durnin. Together, they create a sound that’s both intimate and expansive, soulful and sparkling—very much like a glass of good wine.
Drew, a London-born audio wizard, is not only a skilled guitarist but a master of live-looping and audio layering. Brenna, with a voice that could melt even the iciest of wine slushies, brings more than 26 years of stage experience to the mix. Her warmth and vocal range wrap around each song like a cozy blanket with a jazz club pedigree.
This is no cookie-cutter cover band. Soulcem weaves together vocals, acoustic guitar, bass, and percussion to form a full-bodied sound that’s far greater than the sum of its parts.
