July has swept in with a burst of sunshine and the promise of long, laughter-filled evenings here in the Pacific Northwest. The 4th of July has come and gone, which, as every local knows, means summer is officially in full swing! As we dive into the season of backyard barbecues, porch sipping, and endless blue skies, our family and the entire Village Wines team want to thank you for being the heart of our community. Your support and enthusiasm keep our spirits high as we navigate the adventures of 2025 together.
Bordeaux-Inspired Beauties: July’s Wine Club Highlights
This month, we’re celebrating the timeless elegance of Bordeaux with a lineup that brings together the best of French tradition and Northwest innovation. Whether you’re a red devotee or a white wine wanderer, July’s club allotment is sure to delight your palate and inspire your summer gatherings.
Red Wines: Bold, Beautiful, and Unforgettable
Mark Ryan Monkey Wrench Red Wine
Crafted from the sun-drenched slopes of Red Mountain and Horse Heaven Hills, this blend is a testament to the power and finesse of Washington fruit. Mark Ryan’s Monkey Wrench is bold yet balanced, with layers of dark berries, subtle spice, and a finish that lingers long after the last sip. It’s the kind of red that stands up to grilled steaks or makes a simple evening on the deck feel like an occasion.
Kevin White Winery Heritage Dubrul Vineyard
A true gem for collectors and enthusiasts, this small-production red (just 172 cases made!) showcases the legendary Dubrul Vineyard. Chateau Couronneau Bordeaux Blanc

Domaine de Chevilly Quincy La Licorne D’Or
If you love Sauvignon Blanc, this French classic will steal your heart. Clean, mineral-driven, and oh-so-refreshing, it’s the ultimate companion for oysters, shellfish, or a light lunch on the patio. The purity and brightness of this wine make it a Village crew favorite for July.
Our team loved tasting these wines, and we think you will too. They pair beautifully with seafood, fresh salads, or just relaxing on the porch with a glass in hand. Lisa and the whole Village crew give them two enthusiastic thumbs up!
